DCVT FALL SEMESTER TRYOUTS:
WHO: Anyone Virginia Tech student is welcome to tryout
WHEN: Audition dates are TBA
WHERE: The War Memorial Gym; in the dance and aerobics room
WHAT TO BRING: Bring comfortable clothes to warm-up and dance in, dance shoes (even tap shoes if you can), a bottle of water, and lots of enthusiasm
THE AUDITION: The audition will consist of two short dance pieces that will be taught and assessed at a second audition day. One piece will be more lyrical in style and the other more jazz and hip-hop in style. This is to display well roundedness in the dancer, but in no way is this intended to disqualify a dancer if perhaps hip-hop is not his or her best style. The audition judges will be DCVT executive boards members, and the results will be posted on the website the following day.
